Always Put Your Family First! - We Love You Mom/Nana!

Hi everyone:

This post is on a more personal note.

I have not posted very much in the past 6 or 7 weeks as my mother was hospitalized and we spent a lot of time with her and my father and not much time on our businesses or blogs.

This brings to the forefront one of the most important lessons in life that we all need to know:

Family ALWAYS comes first!

NO MATTER WHAT!!

I'm not going to go into details, but my mother was very ill and in ICU and on a ventilator throughout almost the whole time she was in the hospital.

My mom passed away on July 3rd, just 12 days after her 78th birthday.

She was a great person who always thought of other people before herself. She always wanted to make sure everyone had whatever they needed. She loved her husband, children, grandchildren and all of the family. She was the most unselfish, caring person I have ever met in my life ... and I'm not just saying that because she was my mother ... that's just the way she was ... you can ask anyone who knew her ...

We will miss you every day Mom ... it already hurts that you're gone, but we take comfort in knowing that your suffering is over and that you are in a much better place now, in peace, surrounded by loved ones and with our Lord.

THANK YOU LORD FOR GIVING US THE TIME WE HAD WITH HER, AND HER WITH US!

FOR THIS WE ARE ALL GRATEFUL!

GOD HAS BLESSED YOU (AND US WITH YOU) AND WILL CONTINUE TO KEEP YOU SAFE MOM - YOU COULDN'T BE IN BETTER HANDS!

Mom's Favorite Verse:

1 Corinthians: Chapter 13

Love

And now I will show you the most excellent way.

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging symbol. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and I have a faith that can move mountains, but have not love, I am nothing.

If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but I have not love, I gain nothing.

Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres.

Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child, I thought like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known.

And now these three remain; faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
